The Leopard Flounder (Bothus Pantherinus), also known as the Panther Flounder is part of the family Bothidae (Left Eyed Flounders), within the order Pleuronectiformes (Flatfish). This species is often seen in the harbour hiding in the sand or mud. It is a brownish to greyish colour with dark spots and distinctive large dark blotch on its back towards the rear of the body.
