About meGrowing up in the UK I developed a passion for the underwater world at age six - I remember seeing a shark for the first time and will never forget that feeling. Ever since I have wanted to explore the marine world and discover every species there is to offer (an impossible task).
I started diving in 1998 at just 14 years old and even though it was 6 degrees Celsius (I was only in a wetsuit) and I saw nothing other than a sunken car underwater I was hooked. I loved the experience and wanted more more more! Many holidays since were spent abroad to go diving. |
After moving to Sydney (originally temporarily, but now permanently!) in November 2015 I soon fell in love with the city and with what Australia has to offer. I have been able to nurture my obsession with exploration underwater and scuba diving in this city due to the great number of sites, ease of access and the abundance of wildlife to see.
The information in this website is a mix of personal experiences of behaviours I have identified along with supporting information compiled from many great reference points listed below.
Dive Centre Bondi has been an important part of my life here. I have made fantastic friends through the shop and have been able to improve my underwater skills through various GUE and PADI courses. I would recommend all to visit and get diving too! |
Diving gives us the opportunity to spot wildlife like you would never be able to on land. It is the last true wilderness and I can't get enough of it. This is a website to showcase the best of Sydney and try to share the experiences of our life here.
