One of the most unusual Orders of fish (and a personal favourite of mine) which includes trumpetfish, flutemouths, pipefish, and seahorses. This Order of fish contains over 350 species and in Australia and Sydney we have some of the most beautiful ones.
Syngnathiformes all have distinctive long tubular snouts upon a slender elongated body.
