The family of Zanclidae (Moorish Idols) is a family of just one species. This species was made famous in the movie 'Finding Nemo', by the character Gill.
They can be seen on the occasionally in Sydney at various sites and are one of my favourite fish. They are a very shy fish and difficult to photograph The species name is Moorish Idol (Zanclus Cornulus) |
