The Polycera capensis, also known as the Crowned Nudibranch, from the family Polyceridae is one of my favourites in Sydney. They can sometimes be seen in Kurnell, Bare Island but more commonly in Clifton Gardens. This nudibranch was first discovered in South Africa in 1824 and is believed to have transported to Australia underneath a ship. Little is known about this cute nudibranch but with it's sunshine like face it is definitely one of my favourites.
