The Polycera hedgpethi, from the family Polyceridae is a similar nudibranch to the Polycera capensis but much darker with some yellow spots. I have only seen this nudibranch once in Sydney. It was first sighted in California but is believed to have originated from South Africa and travelled the world underneath ships where it fed on bryozoan.
