The species Green Moray Eel (Gymnothorax Prasinus) of the family Muraenidae, in the order Anguilliformes is the most common type of eel seen in Sydney. Moray eels are powerful eels with a single fin extending from their head to their anus. Often hiding in rocks or crevices this large eel is a real character and a great performer to the camera.
