North Bondi is a busy part of the city so timing is key to get parking. Whilst it can be challenging to navigate, this is an interesting dive site which includes caves and occasional magic. We are sometimes lucky enough to go shore diving with grey nurse sharks at this site! This is special because these are endangered sharks where usually divers have to travel far by car or by boat to see. Even without these sharks, North Bondi is a fantastic site with rocky features and boulders teaming with life.

This is a great dive site where you can hear the whales singing in the winter, and see dolphins splashing around on the surface (on a lucky day) but it is not an easy site to navigate - after a while all the boulders look the same! I would strongly suggest that divers take a guided shore dive here rather than do it alone.
