Solitary Islands, NSW
About 7 or 8 hours north of Sydney along the coast is the tiny town of Wooli NSW, where you can access the North Solitary Islands. This marine park is home to the largest number of clownfish in the world and when you dive at Anemone Bay it is easy to see how. They are everywhere! The diving here is full of colours and different tropical fish. When the conditions are good and you visit during the summer months you can see Leopard sharks and Manta Rays, whereas in the winter you can see Grey Nurse Sharks. Turtles are fairly common here too.
Stan at Wooli Dive Centre will look after you and give you a great trip. The dive centre offers accommodation too above the shop so that after dives you can relax in luxury. |
